Last Saturday me, mom, dad, and Chase took a plane from Pisa, Italy, to New-York. Dad and I flew in business class and Mom and Chase rode in the back. When the plane took off it was great. The seats were mechanical so when I pressed one of the 15 buttons either the seat would stretch out for longer legs or turn into a bed or a foot rest would pop up. In the pouch on the wall (there was no seat in front of us) there was a little bag. The bag’s contents were: a bathroom kit/mouth wash, tooth paste, a tooth brush, and napkins. There were also ear plugs, really comfy socks, and some of those cloths that you put on your eyes to help you fall asleep. There were fold out TVs with free movies and TV shows when ever you want.
A flight attendant came and gave us first and second course menus. I ordered a cream of cauliflower soup, a slice of ham with pickled celery strips, and a caprese salad but I don’t like tomatos so dad took it. For the second course I got a grilled chicken breast with some potato dumplings, seared string beans with a side of mushroom and water-chestnut gravy. After we ate I watched some TV, rubbed dad’s back, ordered some drinks and read my book till the end of the flight. Over all I had a grate time!!!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to Oxford, England to visit my godmother Niki and her husband Doug. We stayed with them for 5 days and we had a great time!
While we were there we went to a park with a merry-go-round; the kind with a wheel that you spin and then jump on. We also ate at a pub called “The White Horse.” I had tomato and basil soup and chase got fish and chips with french fries. Near Niki and Doug’s house is a miniature golf park, not the kind with a windmill or anything. These were simpler. The funniest part was when: I was in the middle of sinking a ball one day when it started pouring rain! We had to run a mile home in the middle of winter! But after the rain stopped, we went for a walk and got a new chess set.
One great thing we did in Oxford was when we went and fed ducks and horses. There was one white and brown horse that let us stroke it and feed it apples and carrots.
We also took a bus to see Queen Elizabeth’s Buckingham Palace for the changing of the guards. Later we went to the London tower. Looking over the wall we saw a catapult and a group of teenagers were being taught how to shoot water balloons at some wood targets. Once inside we saw the bloody tower and torture room.
Out of everything we did, I had the most fun golfing. Overall we had a great time at Niki and Dougs. Ciao!!

Venezia
Name. Liam (I wrote and typed this myself)
Last Friday we went to Venice, an Italian city island that is two hours 40 minutes from Florence. When we got there we walked around a bit. Then we went to put our bags in the hotel room. When we finished we went to get some dinner. After dinner we went for a walk around town. Later we went to a piazza which was filled with lots of people. There were crocodile, rhino and feathery masks. Some masks covered just the eyes and others covered the whole face. There was a drag-queen show too. There were cute dogs, some were in costumes. Two Chihuahuas were in colonial costumes; one for instance was dressed like George Washington while the other was wearing a hooped dress. In the piazza there was a woman doing acrobatics while hanging from a balloon. There were crowds of people so thick that you could not see more than ten feet in front of you.
In Venice there are lots of canals which are like small rivers flowing through towns and cities. There are lots of bridges to. Some bridges have railings, some have walls, while some don’t have anything higher than you’re ankle. There are boats of lots of different shapes and sizes. For example: there are lots of bus-boats, taxi-boats, gondolas, and rarely found fishing-boats.
After, we walked to our hotel. That night me mom dad and chase watched TV in bed. The next morning we checked out of the hotel and they held our bags while we ate breakfast. Then we walked around town. We were walking for quite a long time when we passed by some guys playing music on the side of the street. One guy was blowing a harmonica and the other was playing the guitar and singing. Around the corner there were some other people playing music too. One guy was playing a stand-up bass, one other was playing the drums, a girl playing the accordion and a teenager was playing the violin.
Later me and Chase played hide-and-seek with an Italian kid. After that and later that day me, mom and chase took a bus-boat to the train station. But we took a wrong boat and we rode out of town. Then we had to switch boats and ride back in town, then ride to the train station and meet dad there. Then we took a train to Bologna and when we were there we ran around a bit and barely caught a train to Florence.
When we were walking home we passed a woman walking her dog. Her dog had green eyes and looked like a wolf but it had some brown fur on its back. We decided to get some food and drinks at Ebby’s. While we were eating I saw the wolf-dog and the lady crossing the street. I howled like a mad dog and then mom said, "Stop Liam!" Then it looked at me panting with its green eyes and turned and trotted off. When we got home I was so tired I almost fell asleep in the door way. But mom dragged me to bed.
The next day I wrote a story that took me 3” days to write
and it took you 1 day to read it.

Last Saturday...

Last Saturday at eight
I saw an ape (my brother).
Later at noon
I woke up in my room.
Then my mother said, "Hey Liam,"
"Lets go to the museum (La Specola).
When we walked really far
I said, "I still want a car!"
When we got there,My mom ruffled up
my hair.
I saw two Zebras all stiched up
and a lizard in a cup.
and wax body parts
and old man hearts.
Then on the walk home
I saw a big fat dome.
